Enlightenment gate of Kinren-in Temple
The Enlightment gate of Kinren-in Temple, Shingon-shū Chisan-school in Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture, designed and constructed by Suiundo, was completed, and the completion ceremony was held on 13 December 2020.At the completion ceremony, after a Buddhist ceremony in front of the Enlightment gate, a ceremony was held in the guest hall. Due to COVID19, the ceremony was limited to a toast.
The width of the Enlightment gate is 9.3 Shaku from pillar centreline to pillar centreline. The roof is covered with copper plates using the Dutch-lap method.
