Kohjiro Kasama assisted in the restoration of the statue of Seishi Bodhisattva at Seishoin Temple (Iruma City).
In the August 8-15, 2024 issue of Bukkyo Times, an article on the restoration of Seishi Bosatsu (Mahasthamaprapta /Buddhist image of Seishi Bosatsu) at Seishoin Temple (Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture)The article introduced that Kohjiro Kasama was consulted by Saishoin and helped in the restoration of the statue. The Seishi Kannon Bodhisattva statue of Saishoin Temple was closed for offering of metal before World War II, and the statue was abandoned after a memorial service,In commemoration of the 1,250th anniversary of the birth of Kobo-Daishi, the founder of the sect, it was decided to rebuild and restore the statue of Seishi Kannon Bosatsu.
